I haven't been able to stop thinking about Game of Thrones ever since last night's episode titled "Oathkeeper" aired. This episode had the most deviations from the books so far. The last scene in particular, which is the reason for this blog post, is one that has me really thinking more about the future of the series and the franchise.

From This Point Onward, Game of Thrones Heads Into Uncharted Territory

Internet fanboys are crazy
An editorial I wrote about how gamers should focus more on how much fun their games are rather than frame rates and resolution went live today. As expected, the commentors went completely insane and said that my opinion was dumb. Since I was expecting this, I wasn't bothered. The fact that I, a person who has been called a Sony supporter for so long, was called an Xbox supporter made my day. It was hilariously ironic.

Finding the Meaning in our Existence
I've often struggled with the question: "What is the meaning of existence?" This is a question that mankind has been trying to answer ever since we became a sentient species. Many of our religions are based on trying to find the meaning of life. My question isn't a unique one but it is a very important one nonetheless. It may be THE most important question, second only to "are we alone in the universe?"
I ask this question in the context of our current knowledge of how the universe will end. I'll get to that in a bit, but if our universe will one day end and all traces of our civilization is wiped away then what meaning did our lives have? How does the existence of intelligent life mean anything when there will be nothing left to show that it was ever here?

Why I Don't Care Much for Christmas
Since this blog is looking a bit empty and I won't have a new entry until tomorrow, I've decided to pilfer something from my Tumblr blog.
Obviously this thing isn't exactly timely but the sentiment is still the same.
Enjoy!

Take Two!
I started a blog over on Tumblr a few weeks ago (clicky here to see it!) and while it was cool to have this personal space to write about random crap, I was bothered by the fact that Tumblr didn't seem very "bloggy" to me. Most pages were full of pictures and gifs. That's cool and all but I didn't see how my stupid little blog would be noticed among a sea of crazy gifs and videos.
So now I'm trying out this Blogger site. It's part of Google and since they pretty much own my soul anyway, I figure I'd try this and maybe get more exposure to the random bullshit I want to write about. This place seems to be more complicated to use than Tumblr is (i R techtard!) but I'll give it an honest shot.
I'm not sure whether to bring my Tumblr posts over here or just start fresh. I guess if this doesn't work out for me I at least secured the romudeth.blogspot domain. That's MY name, bitch!
Okay, enough madness. Let's see what this thing has to offer.
